Nothing is more foundational to human life than this reality: There are two sexes, men and women. This is because God made humanity in this form for His glory (Genesis 1:27).

But not everyone agrees. The most significant dissenter from this truth is not a human; it’s the devil himself, Satan. The same diabolical liar who hates God also hates God’s design. In every society and every family, Satan works to undermine and eventually overcome the truth that there are only two sexes, and they are made for the honor and praise of God.

In America, this pagan assault took a sharpened form in recent years. On the very first day of his presidency, former President Joe Biden ordered¹ the entire federal government to “review all existing orders, regulations, guidance documents, policies, programs, or other agency actions” that might oppose “transgender” rights. Later actions in the Biden presidency reinforced this trend.

All this is now coming undone. On day one of the Trump administration (second term), President Trump signed an executive order titled “Defending Women from Gender Ideology Extremism and Restoring Biological Truth to the Federal Government.” As reported by The Free Press², here are the core principles of this order:

- Across the government, the biological reality of two sexes is established and defined.

- The Executive Order ends the horrifying practices of a) putting men in women’s prisons and b) funding “transition” surgeries for male prisoners.

- The Executive Order stops the mandated usage of “preferred pronouns” and protects the rights of citizens to honor the given biological sex of a person.

The signing of this executive order is a shocking turn of events. No political partisan is needed to see that President Trump’s directive has done nothing less than reaffirm reality as created by God.

Of course, the proclamation does not cancel Satan’s attack on God’s creation. More battles will come, as we live in a thoroughly fallen world. At present, however, God’s people may give thanks. America is no longer living in a pagan fairy tale.

Extremism is being dismantled.
