True or false? Seriously committed Christians do not get depressed? Today's guests say the answer is absolutely "false". Dr. Arch Hart and Dr. Catherine Hart Weber talk about the stresses that lead to depression, how men and women react differently, and how we can help loved ones who are struggling. Dr. Archibald Hart is well known for his ministry to churches through psychological training, education, and consultation. A former dean of the School of Psychology at Fuller Theological Seminary, he is now retired from full time teaching. He has taught for years in the Doctor of Ministry program at the seminary, in addition to his teaching and mentoring responsibilities in the School of Psychology. Dr. Hart is board certified in psychopharmacology and was honored by the American Association of Christian Counselors with their Caregivers Award in 1997. Dr. Hart has published 24 books. He and his wife Kathleen live in California. They have three Daughters, four grandsons, and three granddaughters. Dr. Catherine Hart Weber is the oldest daughter of acclaimed author and psychologist Dr. Archibald Hart and speaker Kathleen. Dr. Hart Weber has written and researched steadily over the years on living well in life and relationships, authoring many articles and appearing in media, as well as providing practical resources such as: Secrets of Eve: Understanding The Mystery of Female Sexuality, A Woman's Guide to Overcoming Depression, and Is Your Teen Stressed or Depressed? A Practical and Inspirational Guide for Parents of Teens.
