March 30, 2012

The unemployment rate remains over 8%, and families across America are struggling. Dr. Dobson is joined in the studio today by two couples who share their own story of adversity. They offer advice regarding how families can become more cohesive during a job transition, as well as how to be helpful to others in the same situation. Lee and Jenn Darnold have been married for 14 years and have two sons. Together, they walked through a three-year period of job transition. Lee is currently the Chief Marketing Officer for a home building company and Jenn works as a part-time CPA while their children are in school. Beau and Patty Henderson have been happily married for 31 years; have six children and 2 grandchildren. After being unemployed for 20 months, Beau came to work at Family Talk as the Creative Director.
