Frank Pastore

Frank Pastore was a major-league pitcher for the Cincinnati Reds and the Minnesota Twins. After an injury ended his baseball career early, Frank went to college and earned degrees in business administration, theology and political science. For two years he was involved in the national leadership of Athletes in Action, the sports ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ. From 2004-2012,he was the host of KKLAs The Frank Pastore Show, which became one of the most popular talk shows in the nation. With an entertaining and stimulating style, he was able to integrate the news of the day with religion and politics. He authored Shattered: Struck Down, But Not Destroyed a memoire recounting his baseball career and how he came to faith in Christ. Frank went to be with the Lord on December 17, 2012 following a motorcycle accident in California.
