David Ring is a nationally recognized Christian evangelist, author and motivational speaker. Born with cerebral palsy on October 28th, 1953, he was thought to be dead for the first 18 minutes of his life. When he was 14 years old, David was orphaned after both parents succumbed to cancer. Despite it all, David emerged not as a victim, but as a victor. Countless audiences have heard his powerful story of perseverance as he travels the country speaking at churches, conventions, schools, and corporate events. David has written two books about his life, Just as I Am and The Boy Born Dead. He and his wife, Karen, live in Nashville, Tennessee. They have four children—April, Ashley, Nathan, and Amy Joy, along with three grandchildren.
