David and Claudia Arp are the founders and directors of Marriage Alive International, Inc., a ministry providing resources and training to empower churches, communities, and couples to build better marriages and families. The Arps have written numerous books dealing with marriage and family enrichment, including 10 Great Dates and The Second Half of Marriage. David received a Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Tennessee, and Claudia holds a Bachelor of Science in Home Economics Education from the University of Georgia. They have three sons, several grandchildren, and live in northern Virginia.
