Adoption is not always as seamless and picture-perfect as it's portrayed in a Hollywood movie. Especially if parents are adopting older foster care kids, many of whom have suffered trauma in their past. On today's classic edition of Family Talk, Dr. James Dobson speaks with Billy Jack and Anne Barrett, who candidly share about the challenges they experienced adopting five foster kids. Despite the difficulty of following God's calling, Anne declares, "I would rather have the scars on my heart, healed by Christ, than no scars at all!"
