Dr. Tim Clinton with Dr. James Dobson

Dr. James Dobson is the founder and president of the Dr. James Dobson Family Institute, the nonprofit organization that produces his radio program Family Talk, which is heard on more than 1,300 stations. He holds a Ph.D. in child development and research design from the University of Southern California School of Medicine, and is the author or co-author of 70 books. Dr. Dobson served as an associate clinical professor of pediatrics at the University of Southern California School of Medicine for 14 years, and served on the attending staff of Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles for 17 years. He has advised five U.S. Presidents and has served on eight national commissions. Dr. Dobson has been married to Shirley for 60 years, and they have two grown children, Danae and Ryan, and two grandchildren. Dr. Tim Clinton, Ed. D., LPC, LMFT is the executive director and dean of education for the James Dobson Family Institute, as well as co-host of the Family Talk broadcast. Dr. Clinton is also president of the American Association of Christian Counselors, the largest Christian counseling association in the world. The author of more than 30 books, Dr. Clinton is a licensed professional counselor and a marriage and family therapist. He is recognized as a leader in mental health and relationship therapy, and spends much of his time working with Christian leaders and professional athletes. Dr. Clinton has been married to his wife, Julie, for 40 years. They have two adult children, Megan and Zach, and recently celebrated the birth of their first granddaughter, Olivia.
