Dr. Bill Bennett has served as Secretary of Education under President Ronald Reagan, and as director of the Office of National Drug Control Policy under President George H. W. Bush. He earned a B.A. at Williams College, his Ph.D. from the University of Texas, and a J.D. from Harvard. He has written or co-authored more than 25 books. Dr. Bennett has taught at Boston University, the University of Texas, and Harvard. He formerly hosted Morning in America and now hosts The Bill Bennett Show podcast. Dr. Bennett and his wife, Elayne, reside in North Carolina and they have two sons.
