Michael Scott and Bill Abbott

Michael Scott is the CEO and founder of Pure Flix, the number one Christian streaming platform in the world. He started his career as a producer, creating programs that reflected his personal values, and went on to establish Pure Flix in 2005. Under his leadership, Pure Flix has become a global leader in faith-based entertainment, producing and distributing high-quality films, TV shows, and digital content that resonates with audiences of all ages. Michael has also produced the box office hits, “God’s Not Dead,” “Do You Believe?” and “The Case for Christ.”
 
Bill Abbott is the president and CEO of Great American Media, a corporation that is home to a portfolio of family-friendly entertainment broadcast and digital platforms, including the linear TV networks, Great American Family and Great American Living. In 2023, Great American Media joined forces to merge with Pure Flix, the faith and family-friendly content subscription-based streaming outlet. Bill previously served as president and chief executive officer of Crown Media Family Networks, the parent company of Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries and Hallmark Drama. Abbott currently serves on the board of directors for Animal Humane, Parents TV & Media Council, and International Radio & Television Society Foundation. He is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts.
