Dr. Tony Evans is the founder and senior pastor of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship in Dallas, Texas, and founder and president of The Alternative, a radio and digital ministry. Dr. Evans has authored over 125 books and Bible studies including Oneness Embraced, The Kingdom Agenda, The Tony Evans Study Bible, and Prayers for Victory in Spiritual Warfare. The first African American to earn a doctorate of theology from Dallas Theological Seminary, Dr. Evans also holds the honor of writing and publishing the first full-Bible commentary and study Bible by an African-American. His radio broadcast, The Alternative with Dr. Tony Evans, can be heard on more than 1,200 outlets in more than 130 countries. Tony was married to his beloved wife and ministry partner, Lois, for 50 years, until she was called home by the Lord in December of 2019. Tony and Lois are the proud parents of four children, thirteen grandchildren, and have four great-grandchildren.
