Tim Lambert is president of the Texas Homeschool Coalition (THSC). As a community leader for more than 30 years, Tim has been instrumental in developing the homeschool movement into a recognized societal and political force in Texas. He has testified as an expert witness on home education in various court cases, and was appointed by Governor Rick Perry to serve on a parental rights advisory committee to CPS. Tim has also been a leader in the Republican Party in Texas for more than 20 years, including representing Texas on the Republican National Committee from 1996 to 2004. Tim holds a B.A. in political science from Texas Tech. Jeremy Newman became Director of Public Policy for THSC in Fall 2013. He is a home school graduate and was homeschooled from an early age when his family moved to Texas from California. He received his Juris Doctorate from Oak Brook College of Law, and currently teaches Lincoln-Douglas debate for a national home school speech/debate league.Jeremy and his wife Addi live in Dallas with their two sons, Wyatt and Declan.
