Katherine Wolf

April 06, 2022

One day, Katherine Wolf was a 26-year-old wife and the doting mother to her six month old baby boy. The next day, without warning, she suffered a massive brain stem stroke. On today's edition of Family Talk, the author of Hope Heals recounts how she was in a coma for nearly three months. Today, fourteen years later, Katherine is living her best life possible, given so many physical obstacles. She utilizes a wheelchair at times but declares it's just an avenue to her freedom and only pushes her forward. A song lyric that she loves from David Crowder is, "Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal." Katherine exhorts believers to acknowledge their own "invisible" wheelchairs and how God can use their weaknesses for His glory.

Katherine Wolf

Katherine Wolf is a Christian champion of faith, a wife, mother, communicator and advocate with a powerful story to tell. She leverages her message of redemption to encourage those with broken bodies, broken brains, and broken hearts. Engaging both faith-based and secular communities, Katherine seeks to bridge the gap between those disabled on the outside and others who are disabled on the inside with the hope that Jesus brings healing to the deepest pain. She is the author of Hope Heals: A True Story of Overwhelming Loss and Overcoming Love, and Suffer Strong: How to Survive Anything by Redefining Everything. Katherine and her husband, Jay, are the hosts of the podcast, Suffer Strong. They reside in Atlanta, Georgia, with their two sons, James and John.
