Thirty-nine years of legalized abortion, and over 50 million babies killed in the United States alone. Today, we'll honor those lost lives, and let you know about an upcoming event you won't want to miss. It's time Americans everywhere took a stand for the unborn, AND for the women whose lives have been crushed by abortion.
Tracy Eckert is Co-founder and Director of HOZ: Dallas House of Prayer, an evangelical missions organization committed to establishing 24/7 worship and prayer in Dallas and training leaders to bring the Kingdom of God into every sphere of influence. Currently open over 65 hours per week, the house of prayer offers live worship and prayer six days per week, two regular equipping services, three-month internship programs, and fully functioning ministries that serve all generations.
A former marketing executive of a successful company, Tracy was radically converted in 1999. Following a series of divine appointments she eventually met one of her spiritual fathers, Lou Engle, the visionary and co-founder of TheCall solemn assemblies. The connection inspired Tracy and her husband, John, to begin StandUSA, a former mobilization organization dedicated to educating and registering young voters across the nation. The connection also launched them into a fervent commitment of their lives to governmental intercession, and to stand for life, justice issues, and the ending of abortion.
Tracy is an intercessor, sought-after speaker, and champion for life and women. She has a contagious zeal for the things of the Lord and is a gifted prophetic teacher. She and her husband have been blessed with seven beautiful children and four perfect grandchildren.
Lou Engle is the visionary and co-founder of TheCall solemn assemblies (www.TheCall.com), a movement of prayer gathering young adults to pray and fast for breakthrough and revival. TheCall began in Washington, DC in 2000 gathering over 400,000 people to pray and fast for the United States. Since 2000, The Call has gathered hundreds of thousands of people to pray both national and internationally. After a few years of dormancy, TheCall was revived on 07.07.07 with over 70,000 people gathering for TheCall Nashville.
Lou Engle's heart passion is to call young adults into a lifestyle of radical prayer, fasting, and holiness. In 2004, Lou planted the first Justice House of Prayer in Washington, DC to contend with the injustice of abortion and to pray for righteous leaders to be raised up in America. Since then, JHOPs have emerged in San Francisco, Boston, New York, and San Diego.
Currently, Lou Engle resides in Kansas City, MO where TheCall finds its headquarters. He is also a senior leader at the International House of Prayer in Kansas City with Mike Bickle.
Lou and his wife, Therese, have been married for over 28 years and together they have five sons and two Daughters.
Laura Allred. Within every little girl is found a spark of God's tenderness and creativity. Added to her beauty and gentleness, each girl's heart is shaped to determine how she will respond as a young woman to life, others and ultimately to God.
Even as a young girl, Laura Allred was uniquely tender to the heart of God. Before the age of 10, her heart broke deeply for the unborn babies who had lost their lives through abortion. In 3rd grade, amidst spelling and math, she was a passionate evangelist to her classmates. It was clear that her heart was being shaped to carry her Father's heart.
Longing to see her peers live with freedom and purpose, Laura began Standard Bearers International and Captured in 2004, which are reaching this emerging generation with the Father's message of holiness and passion while cultivating a grassroots reformation of society. Her unique influence to gather, inspire and mobilize others does not stop there.
Laura has had the honor of preaching all over the U.S. and in over a dozen nations around this beautiful earth! Carrying a mandate to encourage her generation to a higher standard, she shares her message with transparency, passion and conviction. Laura communicates with a humor and a vulnerability that disarms and inspires change.
With a divine directive for multi-generational ministry, she has served under and received the blessings from such ministers as Cindy Jacobs (Generals International), Doug Stringer (Somebody Cares and Turning Point Ministries International), Lou Engle (The Call) and Nicky Cruz (Nicky Cruz Outreach).
She enjoys time at the spa, fishing and long walks holding her husband's hand. This city-girl is proud of the fact that she has recently become an organic gardener! Laura and her husband Gabriel, who serves as the worship leader at Christ for the Nations Institute, live in Cedar Hill, Texas.
