Dr. Henry Blackaby, Dr. Norman Blackaby

Dr. Henry Blackaby is the founder and President emeritus of Blackaby Ministries International. He has served as president of Canadian Baptist Theological College and president of the Canadian Southern Baptist Conference. Dr. Blackaby received his undergraduate from University of British Columbia and earned his B.D. and Th.M. from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary. Dr. Blackaby later served on staff at the North American Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention. Blackaby has published several books and resources, most notably Experiencing God in 1990. Henry lives with his wife, Marilynn, in Atlanta, Georgia. He has five children, fourteen grandchildren, and three-great grandchildren. Dr. Norman Blackaby has served as an assistant professor of Biblical studies at Dallas Baptist University since 2007, teaching courses in theology, Biblical studies, and leadership. Norman completed a degree in history from Hardin Simmons University and later on to Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary where he completed a Masters of Divinity and a Ph.D.. Dr. Blackaby has been a senior pastor of churches in Texas and Arkansas, and as vice president of Blackaby Ministries International. As an author, Dr. Blackaby has co-written many books including Experiencing Prayer with Jesus. Norman and his wife, Dana, currently live near Dallas with their three children.
