February 05, 2021

Last year, 100,000 high school students with special needs were honored guests at a special prom called, "A Night to Shine." Today, we talk with the creative vision behind that special night: Heisman Trophy winner, former NFL Quarterback and New York Mets baseball player Tim Tebow. His new children's book, Bronco and Friends: A Party to Remember, illustrates that regardless of abilities or disabilities, all of God's children are special, wonderful, and perfectly made by our Creator.

Tim Tebow

Tim Tebow is a two-time college football national champion, Heisman Trophy winner, and was a first round NFL draft pick. A quarterback in the NFL for several seasons, he stepped away from playing football and joined the SEC Network as a college football television analyst and contributor to various ESPN platforms. In 2016, Tebow signed a contract as a Major League Baseball player with the New York Mets. Through it all, he contributed to the work of the Tim Tebow Foundation, which he started in 2010. The foundation's mission is to bring faith, hope, and love to those needing a brighter day in their darkest hour of need, and fighting for those who can’t fight for themselves all around the world. In 2020, Tim married Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters, winner of the 2017 Miss Universe title. Together, they reside in Florida when Tim is not on the road sharing his testimony, spreading the gospel or playing with the Mets baseball organization.
