America lost a civil rights champion when Martin Luther King, Jr. was killed in 1968. But did you know that his younger brother, Alfred Daniel Williams King, also died a violent death in 1969? Over time, and since her commitment to Jesus Christ in the 1980s, Alveda has embraced her mother’s motto: “Love, forgive, and heal on your feet.”
