Today marks the 231st anniversary of the adoption of the U.S. Constitution as the highest law of the land. To celebrate Americas founding document, Dr. Dobson welcomes to the Family Talk studio Mark Meckler, Founder and President of the Convention of States project. Also joining the conversation is Jenna Ellis, the Director of the Dobson Policy Center. All three discuss the importance of protecting the Constitution, and ways the government has misused its power.

Mark Meckler & Jenna Ellis, Esq.

Mark Meckler is the founder of Citizens for Self-Governance, and was a co-founder and national coordinator of the Tea Party Patriots. Mark appears regularly on television shows and his opinion editorials regularly run in many of the leading political newspapers both on and offline. Mark has a BA in English from San Diego State University and graduated with honors from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. Mark is the co-author of Tea Party Patriots: Second American Revolution. Mark lives in northern California with his wife Patty and two children. Jenna Ellis, Esq. is the Director of Public Policy for the James Dobson Family Institute. She is a constitutional law attorney and a contributor to the Washington Examiner, Daily Wire, and The Federalist. Ms. Ellis has a comprehensive background in litigation and expertise in constitutional law, criminal law, contracts, public policy leadership, and ethics. She is an experienced media personality on multidimensional media, including radio, television, and written journalism. She is the author of The Legal Basis for a Moral Constitution. She is a requested speaker for constitutional literacy, political issues, policy and current events.
