Philippians 4:7 says, “And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” It’s one thing to read these words of the Bible, but another to believe them in the midst of war and facing imminent death. On today’s edition of Family Talk, Dr. James Dobson talks with retired Major and Chaplain, Jeff Struecker about his 22-year career in the U.S. Army. You’ll hear of Jeff’s first encounter with Jesus, through the intentional outreach of his neighbors, and how God then led him to fight bravely for this country. On this special Memorial Day program, Chaplain Struecker gives God all the glory for the supernatural peace he experienced on the battlefields as a survivor of “Black Hawk Down.”
