According to C.S. Lewis, “Hardships often prepare ordinary people for an extraordinary destiny.” For Victor Marx, the trials he experienced in his upbringing led him to pursue humanitarian work around the world. On today’s classic edition of Family Talk, Dr. James Dobson speaks with Victor and his wife, Eileen, the co-founders of the non-profit organization, All Things Possible. Learn about their incredible passion to go deep into the face of death and destruction, such as ISIS war-torn prison camps, to reach those in desperate need of the hope that only Jesus can bring.

Victor & Eileen Marx

Victor Marx is a high-risk humanitarian and the co-founder of All Things Possible Ministries, a non-profit organization that works on a global scale to identify and restore victims of trauma from abuse. Victor has led missions to Iraq, Syria, North Africa and Southeast Asia – many times in non-permissive and high-threat environments. Severely abused and tortured as a child, by the time he graduated from high school, Victor was using drugs, fighting, and stealing. The discipline of military life and faith in God helped him recover from his traumatic childhood. Today, Victor dedicates himself to helping others deal with challenges and develop a resilient lifestyle. Victor and his wife, Eileen, have been married for 35 years and have five children and several grandchildren.

Eileen Marx co-founded All Things Possible Ministries with her husband, Victor, in 2003. Their mission is to set captives — those affected by trauma — free emotionally, physically and spiritually.  Eileen is a 2nd degree black belt, and has done high-risk mission work overseas, as well as counter-sex trafficking and counter pedophile work in the U.S. and at the Mexico border. An accomplished author, Eileen enjoys long distance shooting, blade work, Bible study and spending time with her loved ones.
