An Immigrant’s Journey of Faith and Freedom to America - Part 1

Cornel Potra is the founder of Potra Law Firm. He attended Regent University School of Law in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and graduated in May of 2000. During law school, Cornel prayed about where God wanted him to live and the area of law that God wanted him to practice. He took the Washington State Bar Exam in 2000 and began Potra Law Firm in the attic of his Virginia home in January 2001, where he first practiced immigration law. Shortly after his wife’s graduation from law school in 2001, they moved to Georgia to continue their work in this field, and Cornel became a member of the Georgia Bar in 2005. He and his wife, Kristina, have five children and reside in the Atlanta area.
