Nearly 70 percent of Americans are "extremely" or "very" proud to be an American, according to a Gallup poll.
It's safe to assume that Democrats are bringing that number down. A survey from Rasmussen Reports revealed that only one-third of Democrats believe the U.S. is "a nation with liberty and justice for all," compared to nearly three-quarters of Republicans.
What is causing these cynical attitudes, and why is one political party decidedly more patriotic? We need look no further than the Democrat's embrace of concepts such as Critical Race Theory. It's an insidious effort to divide Americans, rather than unite us based on our shared belief in the American dream: that all men are created equal.
