A middle school teacher in Massachusetts was alarmed about sexually-explicit books in the school library, so she expressed her concerns in a letter to the Superintendent.
The district refused to take action, and the librarian filed a "harassment, bullying, discrimination, and hate crimes" complaint against the teacher.
The librarian alleged that the teacher, Bonnie, was engaging in harassment based on "her perception of my sexual orientation and gender identity." (The librarian is transgender.)
Incredibly, Bonnie was then forced to attend a meeting with district officials and attorneys, where she was questioned about the alleged harassment. Rather than focus attention on the "sexually explicit and pornographic materials" being presented to school-age children, and the "psychological and mental damage" that can result, school officials focused their efforts on intimidating and harassing Bonnie.
Eventually, the case against Bonnie was quietly dropped, but nothing was done to protect these Massachusetts school children from being exposed to sexual content.
Is there any doubt that our children are being force-fed a radical curriculum that is godless, anti-American, and sexually perverse? We have an obligation to protect them. Accordingly, we must be extremely careful about those whom we place in power over them, and we must stand up and speak out when that power is abused!
