Pro-Life Billboard Campaign

In September 2022, extreme pro-abortion California Governor Gavin Newsom paid to put up public billboards in seven states promoting California as an abortion haven. Some of Newsom's billboards outrageously twisted the words of Jesus in Mark 12:31, "Love your neighbor as yourself." Newsom apparently believes that assisting in the death of an unborn child is an act of biblical love of which Christ would approve. That is outrageous and it is a lie.

Here's some good news. The Coalition for an Abortion Free Future is launching their own billboard campaign in the same locations as Newsom's pro-abortion billboards.

The Coalition's billboards link sexual responsibility to the sanctity of life. The billboards proclaim, "Save sex for marriage. Plan your future. Not your abortion." They include an image of a dismayed young woman looking at the results of a pregnancy test, while her boyfriend puts a hand to his face showing stress and anxiety. The message is clear. Irresponsible sexual activity outside of marriage fuels the abortion epidemic.

Data from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) shows that an overwhelming 86% of abortions are performed on unmarried women.

There has been no response from Governor Newsom to this new pro-life campaign. He is a rising star in the Democrat Party and the subject of increasing speculation that he will run for president if Joe Biden declines to run for re-election.

Inspiration That Could Save America

There is always an October surprise in every election, and we may have just experienced it. More on that later. The presidential campaigns are deploying resources and crafting messages to clarify the choice before us. Former President Donald Trump spent half an hour as a McDonald’s employee, effectively turning it into “Donald’s” as he served Pennsylvania families burgers and fries. At a rally in the same state, steel workers gathered around him and gave him a hard hat, insisting that Trump saved the steel industry. Then Trump showed his support of the American people by attending an NFL game. The stadium erupted in chants of “USA! USA!”
