Elected officials in a number of states are alarmed and are taking action. For example, in Missouri, Attorney General Andrew Bailey wants Planned Parenthood's St. Louis affiliate to turn over documents related to its dispensing of radical and dangerous "treatments" to minors in the state.
Last week, a Missouri Circuit Court ruled that Bailey's office has "broad investigative powers," and this Planned Parenthood affiliate had to provide all documents to the state that were not protected by federal health privacy laws.
Attorney General Bailey told LifeSite News that the court victory will help him, "get to the bottom of how this clandestine network of clinics has subjected children to puberty blockers and irreversible surgeries, often without parental consent. There is no more important fight than to ensure Missouri is the safest state in the nation for children. No stone will be left unturned in these investigations."
We congratulate Attorney General Andrew Bailey on his efforts to protect Missouri's children from irresponsible and dangerous medical treatments administered by Planned Parenthood. The growing evidence that Planned Parenthood's dispensing of dangerous chemicals, hormones, and puberty blockers to minors is a national scandal. We encourage other attorneys general to follow Missouri's lead.
