A professor at a California medical school recently apologized for an "offensive" statement during a class lecture.
What did he say?
Shockingly, he used the phrase "pregnant women." If you haven't been following our society's steady retreat from reality, you might be inclined to wonder why this phrase could cause offense. Allow the professor to explain:
"I'm very sorry for that. It was clearly not my intention to offend anyone. The worst thing that I can do as a human being is be offensive," he said. "I said 'when a woman is pregnant,' which implies that only women can get pregnant and I most sincerely apologize to all of you."
Clearly, and despite the professor's statements to the contrary, only women can get pregnant. This is a biological fact, one which has been clearly evident and understood since God first created men and women. But reality is no longer an impediment to ideology. As one of the professor's students argued, "Biological sex, sexual orientation, and gender are all constructs."
Against this backdrop, is it any wonder that the American Medical Association has passed a resolution to lobby for the removal of "sex designation" from birth certificates?
This is both maddeningly absurd, and deeply distressing. As a society, our eyes have become so blinded that we not only praise what is evil, we deny the most basic facts of biology.
But there is hope! We have truth on our side if we are courageous enough to speak it. It starts in your home. Teach your children age-appropriate truth about how God created us male and female. You can begin by downloading our free e-book, "Are Boys and Girls Really That Different?" If you and I don't counter these lies with the truth, who will?
