The Dr. James Dobson Family Institute is excited that parents are fighting back to reclaim our schools from the radical transgender ideology. We joined an amicus brief, a "friend of the court" brief, filed by former Vice President Mike Pence and his organization, Advancing American Freedom. In a recent statement, Pence declared:
"The strength of our nation is tied to the strength of our families, and we cannot stand idly by as the Radical Left attempts to indoctrinate our children behind parents' backs. [We] will not rest until parental rights are restored in Iowa and across the nation."
The transgender issue is quickly emerging as a major dividing line in America. Joe Biden raised it in his State of the Union address for the second year in a row. His administration has taken multiple steps to push transgenderism in the schools, even threatening to cut off school lunches to low-income children if school districts resist his radical mandates.
The Virginia legislature is currently debating a bill known as Sage's Law. It was drafted in response to a series of horrific crimes that occurred all because school officials hid a young girl's gender identity from her parents. Another Virginia school district is under investigation after teachers and administrators covered up a sexual assault committed by a transgender student in a school bathroom.
Meanwhile, left-wing teachers are openly bragging about how they are forcing this insanity on kids in their classrooms, and Christian teachers who oppose such radical, anti-family policies are being forced out of their jobs.
