JDFI Bids a Fond Farewell to Longtime Family Talk Co-Host, Dr. Tim Clinton

Dear Friends,

As many of you know, Dr. Tim Clinton has served alongside Dr. Dobson as a co-host for our Family Talk broadcast for nearly six years. Concurrently, Tim is the president of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC), one of the largest entities of its kind.

Our nation is suffering through a mental health disaster, and to respond to this critical need, AACC has more than doubled in size over the past few years. Given the weight of leading this effort, Tim is stepping away from his role at JDFI to focus his energy and attention toward AACC. While we are sad to see this chapter within our relationship end, we know that Tim and AACC are being led by God to bring about Christ-centered healing and restoration across our nation. He leaves with our deep appreciation and profound prayers.

In this great hour of need for our country, especially as it relates to sharing the gospel and the Judeo-Christian values that underpin everything in life, JDFI is blessed to have two leading voices in the key areas of culture and policy—The Honorable Michele Bachmann, and Gary Bauer, our Senior Vice President of Public Policy. I am pleased to share that you will be hearing more from them in the coming months.

On behalf of Dr. Dobson and the entire staff at JDFI, thank you for all you do to assist us in uplifting our Christian faith as it relates to marriage, parenting, culture, and policy. There is much at stake in 2024, and it is our primary goal to be used by God to make a difference—now and for eternity.

Inspiration That Could Save America

There is always an October surprise in every election, and we may have just experienced it. More on that later. The presidential campaigns are deploying resources and crafting messages to clarify the choice before us. Former President Donald Trump spent half an hour as a McDonald’s employee, effectively turning it into “Donald’s” as he served Pennsylvania families burgers and fries. At a rally in the same state, steel workers gathered around him and gave him a hard hat, insisting that Trump saved the steel industry. Then Trump showed his support of the American people by attending an NFL game. The stadium erupted in chants of “USA! USA!”
