The organizers say that the carnival will provide food and fun along with entertainment for the kids. A poster for the event promises there will be a chance to meet "Indy drag royalty" among other activities. Not surprisingly, the registration form for the event asks the children attending to choose their preferred personal pronouns, including the always popular Ze/Zir/Zem/Zeir and Xe/Xir/Xem/Xeir.
A spokesperson for Indiana Youth Group told investigative journalist Tony Kinnett that, "we do not allow parents on site for safety concerns." They are deeply concerned about a "sociopolitical climate" that is "hostile to LGBTQ+ children."
Another sponsor of the event is, strangely, the Indianapolis Airport Authority. Local elected officials are asking the obvious question — why is an airport authority, funded with tax dollars, sponsoring an event that exposes children to sexual themes, while demanding no parents are allowed to attend, but 19 and 20-year-olds, not related to the children, are permitted to be in attendance.
U.S. Representative Jim Banks (R-IN), who is a rising star and pro-family, pro-life advocate, said in a statement provided to The Daily Signal, "It's alarming how quickly the 'Pride' movement has gone from 'just stay out of our bedroom,' to 'give us your kids and stay out!'… This is out of control."
There can be no doubt that there is a nationwide, well-funded, aggressive movement that wants to expose young children to graphic sexual material and promote the idea to children that they may have been born in the wrong body. These radicals behind this agenda know they cannot succeed unless parental rights and authority are obliterated.
JDFI will fight this targeting of children with every tool and asset we have. Please join us in this battle and pray for America's children.
