"Fairness for All" LGBTQ Bill is Fair For No One

President Biden has so far failed to push through the disastrous "Equality Act," but the alternative, which is the poorly named "Fairness for All" bill, isn't much better.

As critics of the legislation have noted, the "Fairness for All" legislation would bestow special rights based on sexual orientation and gender identity (SOGI), and "empower the federal government to punish citizens who believe sex is rooted in biology and that marriage is between a man and a woman." It would also strip away First Amendment-protected freedoms of expression, belief, and conscience for many businesses, charities, and citizens.

David Trimble, the Religious Freedom Institute's vice president for public policy and director of the Center for Religious Freedom Education, said the bill "comes up short" with respect to "the central role that religious freedom holds in society according to our founders."

"As we understand it today, sexual orientation and gender identity ideology as it is presented, understood and even proposed in … the current pieces of legislation, still represses religion. It in effect has the practical working out of driving religious freedom further and further to the fringes of society."

Our God-given and constitutionally-guaranteed freedoms should never be surrendered as the price of citizenship in a free society. Do your representatives agree? It's crucial that you find out and respond accordingly!

Inspiration That Could Save America

There is always an October surprise in every election, and we may have just experienced it. More on that later. The presidential campaigns are deploying resources and crafting messages to clarify the choice before us. Former President Donald Trump spent half an hour as a McDonald’s employee, effectively turning it into “Donald’s” as he served Pennsylvania families burgers and fries. At a rally in the same state, steel workers gathered around him and gave him a hard hat, insisting that Trump saved the steel industry. Then Trump showed his support of the American people by attending an NFL game. The stadium erupted in chants of “USA! USA!”
