Here’s what happened. The dispute has involved Title IX of the Higher Education Amendments of 1972. That law was intended to protect women and girls from discrimination in education. Experts have said the law has been incredibly effective for over fifty years in expanding opportunities for females.
A significant exchange of words occurred a few days ago between First Lady Jill Biden and a young American child. Children were at the White House on the occasion of the Marine Corps Reserve’s Toys for Tots campaign.
