Drag Shows At The Smithsonian

The Biden administration is continuing a government-wide effort to promote LGBTQ ideology and trans insanity. From the Department of Defense to Health and Human Services, from the Justice Department to the Department of Education, bureaucrats are working tirelessly, using all the power of our massive federal government, to force radical social change.

Even the iconic Smithsonian Institution, one of the most popular attractions in Washington, D.C., is increasingly promoting left-wing ideology.

This past summer the Smithsonian hosted what they described as an "indigenous drag show extravaganza" with no age restrictions on who could attend.

In an effort allegedly meant to be "inclusive," the Smithsonian American Women's History Museum is planning to feature biological men pretending to be women in its educational material. The actual legislative mandate of the Smithsonian American Women's History Museum is to honor actual women — not confused men.

A group of senators, including Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT), Roger Marshall (R-KS), Tommy Tuberville (R-AL), Cynthia Lummis (R-WY), and Rand Paul (R-KY), are not pleased. They are demanding answers from the Smithsonian on its promotion of "woke" ideology. The senators are refusing to allow three nominees to the Smithsonian Board of Regents to move forward unless they get answers.

Senator Lee told Breitbart News: "The American people deserve trustworthy caretakers for their national treasures and precious history, not drag shows, bigotry, and bias. If you want to sit on the Smithsonian's Board of Regents, you should be able to provide a good case for how you will protect the institution from such disgraceful propaganda." JDFI praises these senators for pushing back against this nonsense.

The Smithsonian also found itself in controversy in January 2023 when students in Washington, D.C., there for the Right to Life March were ordered by the Smithsonian guards to remove their pro-life hats or leave the building. Those students, thankfully, also stood up for their constitutional rights. After threatening a lawsuit, the Smithsonian apologized.

Activist Judges’ Power Grab

District courts are the lowest on the federal judiciary ladder. But, despite their modest place in our system of government, the three district judges and other such activists have decided they have the right to stop President Trump from implementing the agenda he ran on in the 2024 election
