The Daily Caller reports that the North Kansas City School District is now pushing LGBTQ+ history all the way down to the kindergarten level. The list of resources recommended to teachers by the Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network includes stories promoting little boys dressing like little girls. In America, during the early grades of school, we used to teach our children about George Washington cutting down the cherry tree. "I cannot tell a lie," was the lesson. Now, we lie to our children and tell them they can change their biological sex or they may be "trapped" in the wrong body.
Kindergarteners, many of whom still can't tie their shoelaces, are encouraged to read, "Morris Micklewhite and the Tangerine Dress." Little confused Morris is portrayed as a heroic creative child, and, of course, his classmates are portrayed as bigots because they don't feel comfortable playing with the boy wearing a dress. But never fear — in the end, the other children accept him as he is. Somehow, I doubt that a little boy who came to school telling his classmates that God made humans male or female would get the same "heroic" treatment.
Every week a new study shows that American students are falling further and further behind in academic achievement compared to children in other developed countries. Our kids are taught little about American history and are multiple levels behind other countries in math, science, reading, and writing achievement. But increasingly, to our educational elites and powerful left-wing teachers unions, the most important thing is that America's children lead the world in LGBTQ+ indoctrination.
