Colleges and Universities Should Lose Federal Funding for Distributing Abortion Pills on Campus

In 2019, California Governor Gavin Newsom signed into law a bill that forces public state universities to distribute the abortion pill on campus. New York and Massachusetts have begun similar efforts.

Last week, members of Congress introduced a bill that would strip federal funding from those schools, and any other colleges and universities that distribute the abortion pill.

According to LifeNews.com, the proposed law already has the endorsement of 50 members of Congress.

Marilyn Musgrave, a former congresswoman and an official for the Susan B. Anthony List, applauded the effort:

"We are thankful to Rep. Chip Roy for introducing this bill to protect young women and girls from gruesome chemical abortions. The Protecting Life on College Campus Act will stop the flow of taxpayer money to universities that endanger their students by distributing unsafe drugs that could result in severe bleeding, intense pain, infection, physical and emotional trauma, and even death in some cases. As the Biden administration strips away commonsense regulations on chemical abortion, legislators across the country are fighting back by advancing laws to safeguard moms and babies in their states. We strongly support this bill and will never stop working to expose the brutality of abortion."

Inspiration That Could Save America

There is always an October surprise in every election, and we may have just experienced it. More on that later. The presidential campaigns are deploying resources and crafting messages to clarify the choice before us. Former President Donald Trump spent half an hour as a McDonald’s employee, effectively turning it into “Donald’s” as he served Pennsylvania families burgers and fries. At a rally in the same state, steel workers gathered around him and gave him a hard hat, insisting that Trump saved the steel industry. Then Trump showed his support of the American people by attending an NFL game. The stadium erupted in chants of “USA! USA!”
