Christian Baker "Takes the Cake"

Who says there are no miracles? Not us! A court in California ruled on Friday that a Christian baker, Cathy Miller, should not be forced to bake a custom cake for a lesbian wedding. She refused because of her Christian belief that marriage is between one man and one woman. The Thomas More Society who represented Miller called the decision "a First Amendment victory," which clearly it is.

But the case also showed how far hostility to Christians has permeated California's far-left government. During a deposition of Miller, state lawyers tried to prove she was not really a Christian because she did not follow Old Testament dietary rules! California's powerful bureaucrats might actually try reading the Bible before questioning the sincerity of a Christian who opposes same-sex marriage.

Cathy Miller's courage and victory is a lesson for all of us. She refused to give into fear. Under severe attack by big government and radical secularists on social media, Cathy stood her ground. She refused to kneel for anyone other than her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Well done!

Inspiration That Could Save America

There is always an October surprise in every election, and we may have just experienced it. More on that later. The presidential campaigns are deploying resources and crafting messages to clarify the choice before us. Former President Donald Trump spent half an hour as a McDonald’s employee, effectively turning it into “Donald’s” as he served Pennsylvania families burgers and fries. At a rally in the same state, steel workers gathered around him and gave him a hard hat, insisting that Trump saved the steel industry. Then Trump showed his support of the American people by attending an NFL game. The stadium erupted in chants of “USA! USA!”
