Warning labels are often helpful for parents, letting them know if music, books, movies or other media contain content that is inappropriate.
But what should you do when the government is putting warning labels on the United States of America's founding documents?!
In a development that is almost too outrageous to believe, the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) is placing a "Harmful Language Alert" on America's foundational documents.
Sen. James Lankford (R-Okla.) has issued a letter demanding that NARA put a stop to this nonsense. Here are a few excerpts from his powerful missive.
"Most disturbing is use of the alert for our nation's founding documents, including the Constitution, Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights."
…
"This obviously politically-charged qualifier goes leaps and bounds beyond the role of NARA, which has been established to operate as a nonpartisan entity responsible for providing public access to federal government records. While our nation undoubtedly has stains on its history, we have, from our founding, created the most free and diverse society on earth."
Among other things, our founding documents set forth the principles that all men are created equal and that we have certain unalienable rights granted to us by our Creator. While some on the far Left might take offense to these self-evident truths, the idea that they contain harmful language is beyond ludicrous.
The Biden administration is determined to tear down America and remake it into a nation that we will no longer recognize. This government belongs to "We the People." Are you ready to use your voice, and your vote, to get it back?
