JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION TITLE:
Broadcast/Media Internship

REPORTS TO:
Vice President of Media Services
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Broadcast/Media Intern will work with the Media Specialists, the Radio Program Producers, and the V.P. of Broadcast/Media Services. The intern will be trained and tasked with basic media and broadcast pre-production, production, post production and work flow, transcoding audio and video files, archiving, quality control (QC’ing) of audio and video files, monitoring and supporting file-share web services like Dropbox and Google docs, and assisting in video shoots and audio recording sessions, to include basic mixing, audio capture, lighting, camera work, and teleprompter operation. Basic or intermediate audio-editing, video- editing and/or motion graphics skills are a plus. Writing skills required. Duties may also include light lifting, filing, and typing. Intern must be an effective communicator. This is great opportunity for a hands-on, multi-media experience with opportunity for growth.
